Any time someone asks what she wants to be when she grows up, she says "a baker". The Culinary Playground has given her the tools and confidence to be able to hopefully one day achieve this dream. She cannot wait until she turns 6 and more advanced classes open up to her! Thank you for offering such a wonderful experience for kids and families.

The owner, Kristen, is knowledgeable, friendly, and makes the experience fun for everyone. She was also very accommodating to our group’s food allergies, which we really appreciated. The recipes are always so well thought out, and I'm so impressed with the culinary education the kids get while they're there, and are able to implement these skills at home while baking and cooking. We made cinnamon rolls with vanilla glaze and butterscotch drizzle, and the recipe was really approachable. She explained things well and kept the class moving at a good pace - not rushed, but not leisurely. I’ve been baking regularly for a few years, and have made “more complex” cinnamon rolls multiple times before, and I still learned new techniques and facts. With baking and cooking, there is always something new to learn even if you’re a regular. This was my first cooking class and it made me want to take more.

Our son is enrolled in the Mini Chefs class, and it has been incredible to watch him not only have fun, but genuinely learn real cooking techniques at just 4 years old.
The instructors are excellent—patient, encouraging, and truly gifted at working with young children. They create such a positive, engaging environment that makes the kids excited to participate and try new things.
It’s rare to find something that balances education and fun so well at this age, and this program absolutely does. We feel so lucky to have found it and would highly recommend it to any parents with little ones who are curious, hands-on, and eager to learn.
